BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to move Supreme Court for seeking day-to-day hearing of the pending appeals on construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya.

The appeals were filed in the apex court against the Allahabad High Court’s 2010 order recognising “Ram Lala was the owner of the disputed area special the central dome” at Ayodhya.Addressing a press conference along with VHP leaders, Swamy said on Tuesday he has requested Modi that law officers should approach the SC with an application seeking day-to-day hearing on the issue and pray the court gives its “verdict as early as possible”.

He quoted Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi to say that even the minority community leaders are in favour of regular hearing of the court case.
