2026 Assembly polls charged up due to TVK entry: Actor Vijay tells cadres

Vijay will resume his political activities on Jan 25.

Chennai: In a bid to "seize the reins of governance" in Tamil Nadu, TVK chief Vijay urged his party cadres on Monday to fight the upcoming electoral battle with determination and unity to "achieve the democratic goal of seizing the reins of governance."

The actor-politician went on to say that that due to Tamilaga Vettri Kazhaga's entry into the political foray, the atmosphere in Tamil Nadu is charged up. He urged his party members to fight for victory and gain political recognition in the assembly elections.

Vijay launched the TVK in February 2, 2024.
