Kavitha said that hosting beauty pageants during the nation's current war-like atmosphere would be inappropriate. She pointed to the IPL postponement as precedent, warning that Telangana would face criticism for holding such events while the country faces serious security concerns. "This is a time to demonstrate wisdom and avoid sending wrong signals," she said at a rally.

On Friday, Kavitha led a massive rally in support of Operation Sindoor and in solidarity with the Indian Army. The demonstration, organized by Telangana Jagruti, proceeded from Indira Park to RTC Cross Road in Hyderabad. During the event, she honored fallen soldier Murali Naik, who was martyred during Pakistani border attacks, by placing floral garlands on his portrait.

In her address, Kavitha commended the Indian Army for successfully destroying nine terrorist bases in Pakistan through Operation Sindoor. "We organised this rally to bolster the courage and strength of our armed forces who safeguard our citizens," she explained. She highlighted how the Indian Army effectively repelled Pakistan's attacks targeting Indian airports and called for similar rallies across all districts.

"This is a righteous war. India never acts unjustly. We are fighting with honesty and integrity," Kavitha said. "We have not harmed ordinary Pakistani citizens we have only targeted and destroyed terrorist bases," she added.
