Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police on Monday arrested a software professional for allegedly blackmailing young women and coercing them to do sexual favours.
The accused has been identified as Raavi Mastan Sai. He was arrested following a complaint from a woman, M Lavanya, recently.
Police said to have seized a hard disk containing hundreds of nude videos.
Sai reportedly used to drug women and seek sexual favours while videotaping those acts. Mastan Sai is already accused in two cases related to drugs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the past.
Lavanya, the complainant in this case, was also accused in one of these drug cases. On Tuesday, Lavanya accused Mastan Sai of threatening to falsely implicate her in the drugs case, as well as hacking her phone and taking her photos.
Lavanya, in the past, was in the news after she accused Tollywood actor Raj Tarun of cheating her under the pretext of marriage.
According to Narsingi Police, Sai reportedly used to hack into the phones of young and married women, take their photos, and blackmail them for sexual favours.
