A rescue team confirmed on Friday that three more climbers from West Bengal who went missing while returning to the base camp after summiting the Everest were dead.

The chances of recovering their bodies are slim due to bad weather close to the summit, authorities said. Sherpas of the rescue team formed by the West Bengal government, which managed to reach Everest’s South Col on Friday, were only able to bring back the body of Subash Pal, who died last Saturday due to extreme cold. The rescue team located the other two climbers close to Geneva Spur
