The Delhi police’s special cell, which is investigating the cases, filed charge sheets against 12 suspected Indian Mujahideen terrorists.
The first charge sheet was filed in the Karol Bagh blast case against five suspects — Mohd Saif, Zeeshan Ahmed, Zia-ur Rehman, Saquib Nissar and Mohd Shakeel — on December 18 last year, almost 90 days after their arrest from here following the Batla House encounter on September 19.
Four charge sheets in other blasts cases of Greater Kailash Part I, Barakhmabha Road, Connaught Place, Tilak Marg police stations were also filed at regular intervals. A number of supplementary charge sheets were submitted by the police against those who were arrested later in the cases.
