Aiming 100 Assembly and 15 Lok Sabha seats in the coming general elections, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Thursday ruled out any tie up with the Congress and said that the time for negotiations are over.

The party held a two-day brain storming session in Karimnagar, 170 km from here. Addressing the media, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao said: “I accepted the offer to merge TRS with the Congress only after formation of Telangana. But there is inaction on their part. So there will be no more deadlines.”

He also said the TRS will be equidistant from the Congress, the TDP and the YSRC.
