The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board has announced that it has made Rs 239.68 crore by selling human hair during 2013-14 financial year.

The income through selling hair has seen an increase of Rs 34 crore when compared with the previous year’s Rs 205 crore.

The Board members also took several important decisions under the chairmanship of K Bapiraju on Friday.

The Board has approved a proposal to set up 108-inch LED TVs in all the 32 compartments in Vaikuntham queue complex.
