The airline, which began operations in 2006, had discontinued the flights subsequently. It is now positioning itself as a niche carrier -- between full service and low cost carriers.
RAK Airways CEO Omar Jahameh said, "Since the announcement of RAK Airways re-launch last month, interest in our Kochi route has been overwhelming with passengers from across the emirates and India wanting to avail of our value offering."
Flights to Kochi will be on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
RAK Airways first flight to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia departed on October 10, marking the re-launch of its scheduled services.
