Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday felicitated Indian Olympians who won medals in Tokyo 2020. Gold medal winner (Javelin) Neeraj Chopra was awarded Rs 2 crore, while silver medallists Ravi Dahiya and Mirabai Chanu received Rs 1.5 crore each. Three individual bronze medallists — Shuttler P.V. Sindhu, Boxer Lovlina Borgohain and Wrestler Bajrang Punia received Rs 1 crore each. Both the Deputy CMs — Dinesh Sharma, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Governor Anandiben Patel were also present in the event.
