A private school in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh town, about 275 kilometres from here, however, teaches students to compete with each other in using “abusive language”.

The manager of Ratna Public School, which is situated in Rahul Nagar area in the town, Rajiv Kumar Singh was arrested  after it was revealed that the students were given training in “abusing”.

“The school has been sealed...no classes will be held there until a thorough probe into the matter”, said a district official on Friday. “We are conducting a probe into the reports”, they added.

Reports said that the school management used to rebuke and admonish the students who failed to come up to its expectations in using abusive language. The officials also have  in their possession a video that shows Kumar teaching abusive language to the students.

The manager, however, said: “These days, wherever you go, you come across people using abusive language..be it a police station or any other place...the students need to know to use abusive language so that they can get their work done.”
