Rahul had, earlier in the day, claimed that the names of Aditya Srivastava (EPIC No FPP6437040) and Vishal Singh (EPIC NUMBER INB2722288) were enrolled in the voter lists of more than one state.

In a release, Rinwa said that the claim was based on data extracted from the ECI website on March 16, 2025.

He said that during a search today on the ECI website voters.eci.gov.in, the name of Aditya Srivastava was found to be enrolled only in the Bengaluru urban assembly seat 174 (Mahadevpura) at number 1265 in Booth number 458.

Similarly the name of Vishal Singh was found to be enrolled in the Mahadevapura in the same assembly constituency at number 926 in Booth number 513, he added.

He said that their names were not found in the voter list in Lucknow or Varanasi and Mumbai as claimed.

Rahul claimed that the BJP had stolen votes in Karnataka and had also made a presentation before the media. He also claimed that the ECI had connived with BJP to steal votes in the Maharashtra assembly elections.
