Lucknow: Lucknow based Dr Shaheen Shahid—who was arrested from Faridabad a few days ago over suspicion of being a member of the ‘white terror module’, which was suspected to be behind the Delhi blast—had been in touch with a Pak military doctor and had plans to flee abroad after triggering the blasts in parts of country.

According to the sources here Shaheen, whose brother Dr Parvez Ahmed was also arrested for being a member of the same module, had allegedly tried to rope in over two dozen other doctors and medical students, especially those hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, into her network. An AK-47 rifle had been recovered from her car.

Sources also said that Shaheen, who was also in close contact with JeM’s chief Masood Azhar’s sister Saheeda Azhar and on her instruction was planning to establish the women’s wing of the terror outfit in the country, had been able to spread her network to some other countries as well.

The sim card in the mobile phone, mostly used by Shaheen, was issued on a fake address. The address which was given was that of a mosque in Faridabad district. Sources said that she had also travelled to Thailand.

Sources said that it was Shaeeh, who had ‘radicalised’ her brother Dr Parvez Ansari.

The ‘white collar terror module’ had been active for the past four years and important religious places in the country and the national capital were their targets.

Other members of the module, including Dr Arif Mir, who was a student of MD at Kanpur heart Institute was earlier arrested.
