Summing up his campaign in style, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu addressed a press conference here after his roadshow in Guntur district.
He presented the development and welfare programmes carried out during the last five years through a video presentation. Sporting a microphone, the chief minister explained the welfare and development in the state, Modi’s non-cooperation and Jaganmohan Reddy’s hurdles to development works.
The chief minister appealed to the voters to think wisely before voting as a vote for Jagan will be a vote for Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao are conspiring to stall Andhra Pradesh's development and that Jagan has colluded with them.
He said that the YSR Congress president is stalling the investigation of the murder case of his own uncle.
Naidu earlier covered 106 constituencies, addressing 98 public meetings and organising 38 road shows attracting 25 lakh audiences as part of his election campaign.
On the other hand, Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy who started his election campaign from Idupulapaya in Kadapa ended it at the temple city of Tirupati on Tuesday.
He sought blessings of Lord Venkateswara for victory in the ensuing elections.
“Beware of the false propaganda of yellow media which is spreading misinformation. Naidu’s media says that I walked into Tirumala temple with my footwear on. Actually, I walked seven hills without any footwear,” he said.
In all Jagan addressed 68 public meetings in 68 Assembly segments and covered all the 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in 13 districts of the state in 20 days.
Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan who was indisposed for a couple of days due to a heat stroke also completed his campaign in Godavari districts.
He addressed 57 public meetings out of which 3 meetings were with BSP chief Mayawati. Pawan could not campaign in Gajuwaka of Visakhapatnam district which is his second constituency. He is also contesting from Bhimavaram of West Godavari district.
