West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on December 1 met Nationalist Congress Party Chief Sharad Pawar during her three-day visit to Mumbai. After the meeting Mamata Banerjee said, “A firm alternative course should be made as nobody's fighting against ongoing fascism. Sharad Pawar is the senior most leader and I came to discuss our political parties. I agree with whatever Sharad Pawar said. There is no UPA.”
