A 60-year-old woman died on the spot after a car ran over her at Madike Hosur village on Chamarajanagar-Jevargi national highway Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Ningamma. A car, heading towards Mysuru, hit her when she was crossing the road, at 2.30 pm. Nagamangala Police visited the spot and registered a complaint.
