A woman was allegedly strangulated to death over dowry by her husband and in-laws in Mubarakpur village near here, police said today.
The woman, identified as Anita(28) was killed by her husband and her four in-laws last evening after she failed to meet their dowry demands, they said.
Later, the victim was also cremated by the accused without even informing her parents.
On their complaint, a case has been registered in this regard while the further probes are on, they added.
