The contract killers attacked the house of Asharam (father of the youth) on Tuesday night but were caught after Asharam informed the police from his cell phone. Asharam’s son Anil Kumar, who was also with the killers, was also caught by the police. During interrogation it was revealed that Anil Kumar had hired two history sheeters Ramsumiran and Aslam and had promised to pay Rs 20 thousand to the contract killers after completion of the job.
Anil, the only son of Ashram, was unemployed and he used to have fight with his father almost every day for money. Only a couple of days back Anil had beaten his father after his demand for money was not met.
Anil was under the impression that he would be given the job of his father by the authorities if his father died while in service. Asharam is an employee in the National Cadet Corp (NCC) in Lucknow. Police said Anil thought he would get the job under the quota reserved for the dependent of the person, who dies in service.
