Politicians  of the  day  have become  very  self centred  , who do not mind stooping  to any level, to reach their sinister ends.   In this season of  so called  biggest exercise of democracy, however much we gloat in the pride  that India is the  largest democracy in the world and it did conduct the elections  in a fair manner. It is also true  that this election had its own measure of  mix of  good and  bad, infact more  bad to be precise.

These irresponsible and wily politicians , by their machinations  have  targeted honest and sincere  officers and have tried to victimise them , by tarnishing their image. The latest
example  is one such officer,  who has earned a fair name of  being an upright and honest officer in his previous assigments, being cornered   allegedly  canvassing for the ruling party and also distributing money.   It is a known fact  that no money was found or
confiscated  or  any tangile proof  was collected, or  his canvassing for the party, but still
political pressure  made the police  file a charge sheet against the officer.

Infact one leading news paper reports in detail the actual happening of a senior officer  who visited Chickmagalur  and what exacly hapened during his visit.   In the same column, another upright officer  also has given  his statement, the way  he himself has been victimised.

It is time, media plays  a procative role and see that these two senior  officers are acquitted and support them .
