It is not clear whether her fiance was behind the murderous attack.
Lisa Whyte, 32, was due to marry Steven McKee Friday. She shared a house with McKee, but moved out last week after an argument. Though she returned later, the couple continued to argue and the wedding was cancelled after another verbal duel, a neighbour told police.
Whyte was attacked in her home in Stirlingshire, Scotland, Saturday morning.
