Tournament top seed, Frenchman Antoine Escoffier will take on India’s Aryan Goveas in the first round of the main draw of the Mysore Minerals Ltd Men’s ITF Mandya Open here at the PET Sports Complex on Monday.
Second seed Virali Murugesan will face qualifier Bava Haadin in the lower half of the draw of the $10,000 prize money event that also has third seed Karunuday Singh, fifth seed M Jayaprakash and seventh seed V Kaza.
The 24-year old Karunuday will meet wild card recipient Nitin Kumar Sinha in the first match of the day on Court 1. Karnataka’s No 1 player, Suraj R Prabodh will clash with Japan’s Kazuma Kawachi. S Mukund, sixth seed Ju-Chen Hung of Chinese Taipei and eight seed Vishnu Vardhan grace the top half of the draw.
