Replying to hosts mammoth total of 474 for five declared in 128 overs, Rajasthan were reeling at 44 for six at stumps on Thursday. The visitors were soon bowled out for 61 in 20.3 overs with Appanna, who took three during the Friday morning’s play, ended up taking five for 30 runs in the first innings. Karnataka asked Rajasthan to follow-on and the visitors were in a spot of bother after losing the openers inside four overs.

Abrar then ripped through the remaining Rajasthan batting line-up, bowling them out for 126 in 37.3 overs for a resounding innings victory. Abrar claimed five for 44.
