Bhullar to skip Indian Open

“I am really disappointed at missing the Indian Open,” Bhullar told Deccan Herald. “I am unhappy with the scheduling because normally, it is held in September-October.

“But this year, due to the Commonwealth Games, they had to postpone it to December 2-5, which directly clashes with the European Qualifying School. I have no choice but to miss it.

“I am still young and should get more chances at playing our national open. Right now, I am completely focussed on taking my game to the next level. I’ve gained good experience on the Asian Tour and like last year, I have got exemption until the final Q-school.

“I am mentally prepared now and hope to make the cut,” added Bhullar. The Q-school will be held at Barcelona from Dec 4-9.
