Jawahar took the lead through Karthik in the 25th minute but Kickers hit back through goals from Sandeep in the 33rd minute and Suraj Singh in the 44th to take home the Jai Maruthi Cup. The winners received a cash prize of Rs 15,000 while the runners-up were richer by Rs 10000.
Priya Krishnappa, MLA from Govindaraj Nagar, awarded Rs 10000 each to both the finalists as also to winners and runners up of B Division, Bangalore Mars and BWSSB, respectively.
