The unseeded Indo-Pakistani pair overcame a sluggish start to beat their British opponents 2-6 6-3 10-5 in the opening round of the euro 450,000 clay court event on Wednesday.
They will next take on the local wild card pair of Pedro Sousa and Leonardo Tavares.
Sousa and Tavares beat Oscar Hernandez of Spain and Russia's Igor Kunitsyn 6-2 6-3 in their first round match.
