After being forced to cool their wares at home in Australia due to a delay in their paper work, Indian hockey coach Michael Nobbs and exercise physiologist David John in all probability will join the start of the probables camp that is scheduled to kick off in Patiala on October 15.

Reliable sources revealed that the Sports Ministry has cleared the duo’s files which had been pending for a while and the Sports Authority of India will begin the work on their visa on Monday. Officials hope the entire formalities will be completed within a week that will pave the way for Nobbs and John to kick-start the camp.

Both Nobbs and John were expected to witness the recently held Junior and Senior National championships to identify the probables for the national camp but missed it owing to a delay in their files being cleared by the Sports Ministry.

“There is no cause for concern,” said the source. “The Ministry has cleared their files last week and Nobbs and John will join the camp next week.”

Meanwhile, the women’s national camp which was initially slated to be held in Patiala has been shifted to Bhopal.
