Riding on K L Rahul' s unbeaten 58, India beat West Indies by seven wickets on the fifth and the final day of the Delhi cricket Test at Arun Jaitely Stadium to complete a 2-0 series sweep on Tuesday.
Chasing 121 for victory, India resumed on 63 for one and reached their target in the first session after losing two wickets.
Earlier, India had won the first Test at Ahmedabad by an innings and 40 runs.
This is India's first Test series win under Shubman Gill as captain.
Earlier he had led India to a 2-2 draw in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England in the Old Blighty.
This was a second successive Test whitewash for the Caribbeans , after they had gone down 0-3 to Australia at home.
Rahul hit the winning four and India celebrated victory over the visitors, who had launched a spirited fightback while following on.
India's left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav returned a match haul of eight wickets including 5-82 in the West Indies' first innings.
Kuldeep claimed 12 wickets in the series followed by pace bowler Mohammed Siraj, who took 10 to be India's leading wicket-taker this year with 37 wickets in eight matches.
Kuldeep was named player of the match and team-mate Ravindra Jadeja player of the two-match series.
"It's a really big honour and I would say I'm getting used to it," said Gill, who registered his first series victory since taking over as Test skipper earlier this year.
His West Indies counterpart Roston Chase said his side would take some positives from the defeat.
"The positives for us in this match was that Campbell and Hope played well and scored hundreds," he said.
