The Indian squad for the one-off Test against Afghanistan will arrive here for a fitness test on June 8.

The mandatory yo-yo test will be conducted at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) ahead of the historic Test which begins from June 14. Currently, the Indian players are enjoying a minor break post the Indian Premier League.

Afghanistan are currently in Dehradun where they will play three T20Is against Bangladesh, before facing India in their first ever Test match. Asghar Stanikzai will lead the side which boasts of some fine players like Rashid Khan, Mujeeb ur Rahman and Mohammed Shahzad.

The India 'A' squads (limited overs and four-day) which will travel to England, are expected to take the fitness tests on Sunday and Monday respectively. All the players from both the squads will also take the yo-yo test.
