Shikhar Dhawan: Today, it happened that way (that no one could stick around with me). I took the responibility of holding one end up and was also hitting the boundaries when I got the chance. On my Test debut I remember I was scoring this frequently. I took proper rest and was fresh for this match. I didn't know ( when asked if he knew that he was the first man in IPL to score back-to-back tons). We gonna have a discussion and see where we can improve. We have been playing very good quite consistently. This is not going to put us down. We would try to come back stronger.

KL Rahul: Specially when you play with 6 batters and one all-rounder. One of the top four had to do the job. One thing that we need to look at. Shami was coming in after some confidence from the last game. Arshdeep bowled two overs in the powerplay and one over at the death. And he nailed 6 yorkers. Glenn has been batting well in the nets. He is a great team man and we know the balance he brings to the table. The talk before the last couple of games was to beat two teams were at the top of the points table. I couldn't sleep after the last game. We could have finished it before and not allowed it to go into the super over. The game reminds us to stay humble. We would want to take the momentum forward and take it one game at a time.
Shreyas Iyer: I feel that we fell around 10 runs short, btu we got a lot of learnings from this game. Shikhar's batting was a positive. Tushar leaked runs but that happens to the best of us. I'm sure he will come back. Shikhar read the wicket well, adapted to the situation, he went hard from Ball 1, and passed the message onto the youngsters that the wicket is stopping. He acclimatised to the conditions quicker the others. The good thing is that the boys will be charged up for the next game. We weren't upto the mark tonight, but I'm sure we will be next time.

Shreyas Iyer: We'll bat first. We have had a lot of success doing that. Need to maximise our powerplay and get to a good total. We had a dramatic game in our last encounter against them (KXIP), and they are also coming off a game with two Super Overs. We need to stick to our routines and come out all guns blazing. Players are returning from injuries. Three changes : Pant, Hetmyer and Sams come in.

DC Threats: The injuries to key players remain a concern. The backups also need to be ready to suit up.
DC Opportunities: DC are in prime position to finish the league stage in first place. However, they still need to figure out a formula to beat the Mumbai Indians. They'll definitely need it for the play-offs.
DC Weaknesses: Shikhar Dhawan has come good at the right time with two fifties and one century but Rishabh Pant's injury has robbed the team of some firepower. Iyer has also not been able to get going in the last few matches. If Pant misses more matches that could be a big problem for DC.
DC Strengths: The main bowlers have been exceptional. Captain Shreyas Iyer hasn't needed wickets from fifth bowler Marcus Stoinis. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have together got 31 wickets. They've got great support from Axar Patel and R Ashwin. Among bowlers who've played eight or more matches, Patel has the second-best economy rate.
The SWOT for DC
KXIP Threats: Two excellent performances have lifted the team's morale. However, every single match remains a must-win clash. One loss would be enough to end their season.
KXIP Opportunities: KXIP have made a remarkable turnaround and reached sixth place in the table. They are only four points away from the team in fourth place. Can they continue their improbable comeback?
KXIP Weaknesses: The bowling needs to get much better. The bowlers had reduced Mumbai to 96/4 in the last match but lost the plot thereafter. Ravi Bishnoi is the only KXIP bowler to get three wickets in a match in the team’s last four fixtures.
KXIP Strengths: The batting is looking very good. Captain KL Rahul is in superb form. Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle and Nicholas Pooran have also found their best touch.
