The surface: We saw a lot of turn and bounce in the last game, but that was on a different pitch. The wicket they're playing today looks very dry with no moisture at all.
The verdict: It should turn a bit and bring the spinners into play. Will be a bit of a challenge for the batters.

Big achievement for me and for Pakistan (on being on the cusp of 100 wickets). I still remember my debut match and now I’m close to 100 wickets. I’m happy and looking forward to it. (On the previous game) As a team we collapsed, you win as a team and lose as a team. We gave our best but result is not in our hand. We performed our best but a loss is a loss, we will try our best in the next three games. There isn’t much swing early on, length is crucial. We saw hard length is very important and that’s what we’ve been trying as a bowling group. A really good bowling display from Pakistan, spearheaded by their pacers. Shaheen Shah Afridi (3/23) provided the early breakthroughs and Wasim Jr. (3/31) did all the damage at the death. Haris Rauf (2/36) also played his role, striking twice as Pakistan restrict Bangladesh to just 204/10.
Mahmudullah (56), Shakib (43) and Das (45) all put up significant scores but none of the other batters could follow suit with seven batters walking back on single-digit scores.

Finally, Pakistan break their four-game losing streak as they win by seven wickets with 105 balls to spare. This win keeps their faint hopes of making the semifinals alive as they sit just outside the top four in fifth spot.
Bangladesh are second from bottom and are completely out of the running now.
The Pakistan openers Abdullah Shafique (68) Fakhar Zaman (81) provided a solid base with a 128-run opening stand from where the result was never in doubt.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (3/60) was the sole bright spot for Bangladesh as he enters the 100 ODI Wickets club, joining Afridi who got to that landmark in the first innings.

After the Asia Cup, I practiced a lot on my batting, I was looking good at the camp and was looking forward to making it to the team. Today, my hard work paid off after I was given a chance. I told Abdullah that I will see off the first few overs, I knew I could hit big sixes. My role is to make it easy for my partner, so it was important to see off the first few overs and then play my shots. NRR was in our mind after we reached 100, the aim was to finish it off in 30 overs. Not enough runs, The wicket was really good, we lost early wickets again. There were some partnerships, but not big partnerships. Disappointing with the bat. Credit should go to Pakistan, the way they bowled and the way they batted in the first 10 overs. (On his batting position) We'll have to think about that. We are not getting many runs from the top four batsmen. I was batting in the top four, I wasn't scoring. My confidence was low too. Luckily I got some runs, felling better now. At this moment, changing too many things gets difficult. We have to keep moving forward. We have to perform together. We need collective performance, which is not happening.
