Colombian coach Orlando Restrepo said they have put behind their defeat to Ghana and that his boys are going to be competitive against India.

“The next match is always important, Ghana is past. Our boys are more concentrated, and into the match, they are going to be more competitive,” Restrepo said through an interpreter.

“We had the opportunity to play against India in Mexico. We are aware of things, we know they are good players. We are looking forward to play against them very nicely.”

When pointed that Colombia struggled in the second half against Ghana, Restrepo said: “It does take time to adapt, every match is different. Our boys will perform as per the need of the match. We are not lacking anywhere. What the match asks for, we will try to deliver.”

“We are more concentrating on playing a fair and good game. We have arrived early to adapt, and we have successfully done that.”
