Fighting Bulls edge past Puneri Paltan

With their defence producing an excellent show, Bengaluru Bulls snapped their losing streak to beat Puneri Paltan 24-20 in the Inter Zone Challenge week of the Pro Kabaddi League here on Sunday.

Kuldeep Singh marshalled the Bengaluru defence with five points while star player Ajay Kumar bagged three points in the attack as the Bulls took their points tally to 29 from 13 matches to stay in the fourth spot in Zone B.

For Pune, Dharamraj Cheralathan led the defence with four points. Puneri are also in the fourth spot in Zone A with 32 points from nine matches.

In the second match of the day, Haryana Steelers face Telugu Titans.

After a rest day on Monday, the league resumes with Bengal Warriors facing Telugu Titans and Haryana Steelers taking on Dabang Delhi.

Bulls struggled to get into the game early in the first half as they trailed 8-10 at the end of first half. However, they fought back in the second half to prevail.
