The 26-year-old former India captain, who represents Indian Railways, had attended try outs for Chicago Sky, Los Angeles Sparks and San Antonio Silver Stars between April 27 and May 3.
Though her performance was promising, she lagged behind on aggressiveness and experience in the big league, and that proved a big factor in the disappointing outcome. Geethu said she will attend the try outs once again next year if given a chance.
