India were 100 for two in their first innings in reply to New Zealand's 192 on the opening day of the second and final cricket Test at Basin Reserve, here today.

India still trail by 92 runs with Shikhar Dhawan (71) and night watchman Ishant Sharma (3) at the crease.

New Zealand: 192 all out in 52.5 overs (Kane Williamson 47, Jimmy Neesham 33; Ishant Sharma 6/51).

India 1st innings: 100 for 2 in 28 overs.
