Riding on a sedate half-century by Jemima Rodrigues, who brought the winning runs hoisting Shaila Sharmin for a six, India Women's 'A' team, notched up their third successive win to whitewash their Bangladesh counterparts.

Set to score 116 in the stipulated 50 overs, the Indians completed the formalities in a comprehensive fashion, winning the third and final one-dayer by nine wickets. India replied with 118 for one in in 32.3 overs.

On a placid pitch here at the KSCA stadium in Rajnagar scoring was difficult with not much bounce on the offer. Sent up in the order to open the innings, Jemima built her innings displaying poise and patience. With runs hard to come by, Jemima built her innings milking singles and dispatching the loose ones to boundary. She was involved in two half-century partnerships -- first with MD Thirushkamini and later with Devika Vaidya, who also remained unconquered on 30.

Jemima's innings, studded with six hits to fence and one mighty six, ensured India outclassed their Bangladesh counterparts in all departments. The Indian eves will now be looking to replicate the same performance in the T20s slated to be held in Belagavi later in the month.

Earlier, winning the toss and opting to bat, Bangla lost wickets at regular intervals. The tourists were never really in the game, unable to penetrate the strong off field or get the better of Indian bowlers who bowled to a tight line. Expect for Rumana Ahmeda, who top scored with 42, Bangla girls couldn't do much with the bat.

Brief scores: Bangladesh 'A': 116 all out in 42 overs (Rumana Ahmed 42) lt to India 'A': 118/1 (Jemima Rodrigues 56, Devika Vaidya 30)
