Indian Navy Polo and Equestrian Club eased past hosts ARPA 6-3 in the semifinal of the four-goal ARPA tournament on the penultimate day of the Bangalore Polo Season at the Agram ground here on Saturday.

The hosts failed to capitalise on the 3 goal of handicap advantage they were given thanks to their inferior handicap of minus two when compared to the plus four handicap of the Navy.

ARPA were slow to get off the mark and the Indian Navy made complete use of this by storming to a four-goal lead in the first chukker, leaving the home team with a mountain to climb.

Cdr Akhil Sirohi grabbed two while Capt Aman and Cdr AP Singh added a-goal-a-piece.
The navy men piled on more pressure in the second chukker as Aman and Singh scored one goal each past ARPA.

In the other semifinal of the day, Army Service Corps (ASC) scored a 6-3.5 win over Remount Veterinary Corps.

Indian Navy will now face ASC in the final of the tournament to be played on Sunday.
