Kashyap overcomes Prajwal challenge

Kashyap, who had ousted Harsha Manjunath on Thursday in his semifinal encounter, fought past a first set loss to win 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the summit clash. Dev had beaten Antony Savio in his semifinal encounter on Thursday.

In the corresponding girls’ category, Karnataka’s Shloka Kumar stamped her authority over Kerala’s Anjali Jaindan with a 6-2, 6-0 win in the title round.

Mohit Reddy clinched top honours in the boys’ under-12 category with a straight set 6-2, 6-0 win over PM Ganapathi.

Meanwhile Tamil Nadu’s N Ramya cruised past Shikha N Singh 6-2, 6-1 in girls under-12 final.
