Mallya Aditi International School and Sri Sai Ram Mandira School shared the spoils after playing out an enthralling tie in the final of the KSCA inter-school under-14 (Division III) tournament for the BT Ramaiah Shield here on Thursday.

Riding on Jasper’s ton (106), Mallya Aditi posted a decent total of 233 all out in 49.5 overs. For Vidya Mandira, Vedanth (2/35), Venkatesh (2/46) and Dharshan (2/39) picked up two wickets apiece.

In response, Vidya Mandira could only muster the same score as that of their opponents in their stipulated 50 overs losing eight wickets in the process.

Vinayak MB top-scored with 60 while Ujwal (58) and Vedanth (49) made valuable contributions. Ahaan starred with the ball for Mallya Aditi, picking up three for 24.

Brief scores: Mallya Aditi International School: 233 all out in 49.5 overs (Jasper 106, Samit Dravid 37, Aryan Santosh 28; Vedanth 2-35, Venkatesh S 2-46, Dharshan 2-39) tied with Sri Sai Ram Vidya Mandira School: 233/8 in 50 overs (Vinayak MB 60, Ujwal 58, Vedanth 49; Ahaan 3-24).
