A Mexican professional wrestler has died after receiving a flying kick during a match in Tijuana.

Pedro Aguayo Ramirez, 35, lay unconscious after suffering too severe a kick from fellow wrestler Oscar Gutierrez on Saturday, reports Xinhua. Ramirez was popular in the Lucha libre (free wrestling) competition in Mexico.

The match continued for almost two minutes before others realised  that Ramirez was seriously injured. He was taken to the hospital and died there.
