Local lad Parvez Ahmed clinched the Karnataka State-ranking tenpin tournament after defeating Tamil Nadu’s Shabbir Dhankot in the final at the Amoeba Bowling Centre here on Tuesday.
Top-seeded Parvez bowled a consistent round to emerge champion after downing Dhankot by a comfortable margin of 24 pins (215-191)
Earlier, in the semifinals, Parvez eased past Colombian Daniela Wyatt 214-178, while Dhankot narrowly beat second seed Akaash Ashok Kumar 180-171.
