Probe committee completes report on Zulqarnain's case

Intikhab Alam, the former Pakistan captain who is now the national team manager, has said that the committee will soon send the report to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)."We have finalised our report and will send it to the PCB. However, the issue now rests with the International Cricket Council (ICC) which is probing it through its anti-corruption unit," said Intikhab, who also heads the committee.

Haider fled to Britain last week to seek asylum, claiming that he received death threats when he refused to fix two matches.Announcing his retirement from international cricket after arriving in London, Haider said he had been approached in Dubai by a person who asked him to fix the fourth and fifth games against South Africa.

His central contract was subsequently suspended by the PCB, which is unhappy with the player's decision to desert the team just hours before its final ODI against South Africa.
