Rupesh Shah posted a 3-0 win over Dhruv Sitwala in the billiards final of the PSPB inter-unit billiards and snooker tournament at the KSBA hall here on Thursday.
Rupesh won 150-38, 151-44, 150-60 with breaks of 110 and 131 in the first and second frames of the summit tie in the ranked players’ category.
Since Pankaj Advani, Alok Kumar, Sourav Kothari and Rupesh Shah had already booked their berth after their showing in the Nationals, Sitwala, Devendra Joshi, Brijesh Damani and Manan Chandra will represent PSPB in next year’s nationals.
IOC’s Arif Akhtar, meanwhile, scored a 219-66 win over GAIL’s SK Saini to claim the crown in the non-ranked players’ category.
