Simran Kejriwal of Maharashtra bagged a grand double, winning titles in both singles and doubles event in the Suvarna Times Of Karnataka- AITA 50K Women’s prize money tournament at the KSLTA courts on Friday.
Simran defeated SB Apoorva of Karnataka 6-2, 6-4 in the singles final. Later, partnering with Aarthi Muniyan of Tamil Nadu, she got a walkover from SBApoorva and K Simran of Karnataka in the women's doubles final.
Results (All finals): Singles: Simran Kejriwal (Mah) bt SB Apoorva (Kar) 6-2, 6-4.
Doubles: Aarthi Muniyan (TN)/ Simran Kejriwal (Mah) w/o SB Apoorva / K Simran (Kar).
