Kerala women also had to endure a disappointing day after going down to Railways in the women’s final. Despite matching their rivals in the opening two sets, the Kerala eves could not sustain the momentum as Railways won 23-25, 25-21, 25-12, 25-13. Karnataka finished third in the women’s battle, shrugging off an opening set loss to defeat West Bengal 13-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-15.
