That man, Ashley Westwood, has played a big role in BFC’s consistent outings. After their latest triumph, the Federation Cup, Westwood spoke about the trip. Excerpts:

On the maiden Federation Cup title: We are very Delighted. It has been a huge effort to play six games in 14 days and to get the trophy at the end is just a reward for that. We carried out our game plans and were well organised and that has made us stand apart.

On his experience: It has been a great journey. We work hard day in and day out and winning trophies are just validation to the effort.

On the 2015 I-league season: This is a big season for us. We have been working towards it. Winning here is a huge statement and it shows that we didn’t win the league last year by fluke but by merit.
