Apple's Logic Pro is one of the most advanced digital audio workstation (DAW) and Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) software available in the industry. It has a vast collection of royalty-free music, instrumental track loops, and audio effects.
Now, Apple has released a new update bringing more value-added features to the Logic Pro app for Macs and iPads.
Once updated to the latest version, the Stem Splitter feature offers even greater audio fidelity, and can separate guitar and piano into stems.
Also, a new 'submix' feature now allows users to export the exact parts of audio they want. For instance, artists can remove vocals to create an instrumental track or pull out the drums and bass for a custom remix.
And, with Flashback Capture, users can retrieve and restore a tune they may have forgotten to record. Users can also instantly restore MIDI and audio performances using a key command or a custom control bar button.
For hip-hop artists, the new update also brings two new sound packs -- Magnetic Imperfections and Tosin Abasi -- to the Dancefloor Rush feature, adding fresh beats to pump up the music energy.

Apple says that Magnetic Imperfections offers an original texture that captures the raw, unpolished essence of analogue tape. Whereas, the Tosin Abasi sound pack showcases progressive metal guitar with boutique amps, unique effects, distinctive picking techniques, and the artist’s signature riffs.
For iPads, the Logic Pro update brings the 'Learn MIDI' feature. It helps users to get hands-on control by easily assigning their favourite knobs, faders, and buttons on MIDI devices to control plug-ins, instruments, and other automatable parameters within Logic Pro.

The in-app Notepad of Logic Pro gets the Apple Intelligence-powered Writing Tools. It will help artists to write creative lyrics for their new music projects.
Logic Pro for Mac v11.2 is available for download from the App Store. It is available for Rs 19,900 in India. Similarly, Logic Pro for iPad can be updated to the latest version v2.2. It is available for a free trial. However, to access advanced tools, the customer has to make in-app purchases for up to Rs 4,999.
