Technology companies Lava International Ltd, OnePlus, V-Guard, Blaupunkt TV and others launched smart watch, smartphones, smart water heaters, smart TVs and more this week (June 9-15, 2025).
DH's Gadgets Weekly edition lists the latest personal technology products to keep you abreast of everything happening in consumer electronics.
Lava Prowatch Xtreme series.

It features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 × 466p resolution, and pixel density of 326 pixels per inch and 500 nits of brightness for crisp visuals in any lighting.
It is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. The screen also supports Always-On Display functionality and comes enclosed in the aluminium metal alloy-based casing with a sandblasted and oxidized finish.
The smart wearable supports more than 110 customizable watch faces to personalise the screen with the user's outfit.
It is powered by an ATD3085C chipset and comes with HX3960 PPG to track heart rate, SpO2 (blood-oxygen saturation), sleep pattern and physical activities including 200 plus sports.
With the 6-axis G-sensor, it promises high-precision motion tracking for long walks and jogging.
Users can track their health and fitness report on Google Fit or Health Connect dashboard on paired Android phones.
It houses a 300mAh battery and can deliver up to 8–10 days of usage. It can also support five hours of continuous Bluetooth calling and 17 hours of GPS usage.
With Bluetooth 5.3, the watch promises stable connectivity, seamless Bluetooth calling, and quick reply support for messages and notifications.
The Prowatch Xtreme with silicon strap costs Rs 4,499. The watch with a nylon strap is priced at 4,699 and the one with a metallic strap is priced at Rs 4,999. They are exclusively available on Amazon India.
Blaupunkt unveils new QLED Google TV series.

It comes with QLED 4K panel in multiple screen sizes-- starting from 32-inch to 65-inch.
The big models with 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch screen sizes feature a bezel-less design with metallic enclosure. They boast ultra-vivid 4K QLED displays with 1.1 billion colours and HDR10 with Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) support for rich contrast and detail.
The 55-inch and 65-inch variants are equipped with 4 speakers, which can deliver 70W output, while the 50-inch model comes with 2 speakers producing 50W output.
The other two models 32-inch (HD-ready) and 40-inch (full HD) screen sizes, come with a bit thicker bezels, polycarbonate-based enclosures and 48W speakers.
All the new Blaupunkt TVs run Google TV OS and come with built-in Google Assistant, and Chromecast, and users can access more than 10,000 OTT and gaming apps on the Play Store.
They also support six Picture & Sound Modes - including Cinema, Sports, Vivid, Music, News, and Standard.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, they support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three HDMI ports, and two USB ports for seamless multi-device integration.
The new Blaupunkt TVs-- 32-inch,40-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch- are priced at Rs 10,999, Rs 15,499, Rs 27,999, Rs 31,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively.
Vi launches 5G service in India.

To offer smooth and stable 5G cellular internet connectivity, Vi has partnered with Samsung to deploy advanced, energy-efficient infrastructure and implemented AI-powered Self-Organizing Networks (SON) to automatically optimize network performance.
As an introductory offer, Vi is providing unlimited 5G data to users on plans starting from Rs 299. Customers can enjoy seamless streaming, gaming, video conferencing, faster downloads, and real-time cloud access.
Besides Bengaluru, Vi has launched 5G services in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Patna and Chandigarh.
Secure Calls feature in Truecaller.

Truecaller has introduced a new 'secure call' feature. By performing a secure backend check, the app verifies the caller's authenticity, ensuring it is indeed the company and not an impersonator. As a result, Truecaller can confidently label the call as a genuine 'Secure Call' originating from a verified entity.
Once activated, every call gets checked and will be labelled 'secure call' so that the receiver can trust the incoming call and answer it.
Through the secure call signing mechanism, Truecaller makes it significantly harder for fraudsters to impersonate legitimate businesses.
Meta AI app now supports video editing.

Meta AI now offers a video editing feature. There is no need for users to know about editing a video.
The user has to upload a video to the Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website or the Edits app. Then, he/she will get more than 50 editing prompts.
Once you’ve chosen a preset prompt, Meta AI will edit your video to match the selected scenario. Users turn the video into a graphic novel and see themselves reimagined as a vintage comic book illustration. Or change the lighting of a video captured on a rainy day to create a dreamy mood with shimmery sparkles, pearlescent blur and soft focus. Or the user can turn the video into a video game, complete with fluorescent lighting and battle clothing.
The user can share edited videos directly to Facebook and Instagram. However, there is a limit. Users can edit just 10 seconds of the video for free.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra to feature in Gran Turismo game on PlayStation consoles.

Xiaomi has announced a partnership with Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo — one of the world’s popular driving simulation franchises.
With this collaboration, Xiaomi’s flagship electric vehicle, the SU7 Ultra, will now be available on the Gran Turismo 7 gaming title for PlayStation, marking the brand’s debut in the virtual motorsport world.

OnePlus 13s features a 6.32-inch 1.5K (2640x1216p) LTPO AMOLED display, supports a 1-120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 1,600 nits peak. It is protected by Oppo’s propriety Crystal Shield Glass shield and comes with an IP65 dust-and-water-splash-resistant rating.
It also features an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, and dual SIM slots (nano + nano).
Besides the compact form factor, another notable aspect of the OnePlus 13s is the Plus Key, a first for OnePlus phones to date.
The Plus Key replaces the trademark alert slider feature. The latter is a physical switch, which allows users to quickly change between silent, vibrate, and ring modes. It's located on the edge of the phone.

OnePlus 13s also boasts OnePlus AI features powered by Google's generative Artificial Intelligence Gemini AI model.
OnePlus 13s is expected to feature a dual-camera module— main 50MP (with 1/1.56-inch IMX906 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with a 50MP 2x telephoto camera (with f/2.0, OIS) with LED flash. It can record videos up to 4K at 60 frames per second.
It also boasts of 16MP front camera (ƒ/2.4) and can record up to 1080p full HD 30 fps videos.
OnePlus 13s comes in three colours--black velvet, green silk, and pink satin (only in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage).
OnePlus 13s is available in 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage-- for Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999, respectively.
V-Guard Luxecube Smart water heater.

With IoT Smart Connectivity, users can control and monitor the Luxecube Smart water heater remotely through the V-Guard Smart App, available on both iOS and Android platforms.
