Technology companies Lava International Ltd, Xiaomi, Samsung, Blaupunkt and others launched AI-powered smart ACs, power banks, home theatre speakers, accessories, and more this week (January 27-February 2, 2025).

It sports a 6.75-inch HD+ (720 x 1600p) LCD screen and supports 60Hz refresh rate. It has 2.5D Glass, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, type-C, port, dual-SIM slots, a microSD slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The new device houses a UNISOC 9863A processor with PowerVR GE8322 GPU, Android 14 Go edition OS, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage (expandable to 512GB), 13MP rear camera with secondary AI camera and LED flash on the back, a 5MP front camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charger.

It comes in three colours--glossy blue, glossy lavender and glossy white-- for Rs 6,000.

As the name suggests, Ultra Slim Power Bank comes in a very compact design and weighs just 93 grams.

Also, it features 12 layers of circuit protection guarding against over-voltage, short circuits, and temperature fluctuations. This ensures maximum reliability and peace of mind, no matter which device is being charged.

It has a 4,900mAh capacity and support for 20W fast charging.

It supports smartphones, tablets, earbuds, and more. It costs Rs 1,999 on Mi store, Amazon, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail stores.

Samsung's latest 2025 lineup of BESPOKE AI WindFree Air conditioners in 19 models. They feature cutting-edge AI technology and premium design.

They boast of propreitary WindFree Cooling technology that eliminates direct drafts, dispersing air gently through 23,000 micro holes. And, it supports several Artificial Intelligence including the AI Fast and Comfort Cooling features that rapidly cool the space and intelligently transition to energy-efficient settings for sustained comfort.

The new Samsung ACs support SmartThings connectivity, offering advanced features such as Map View for remote monitoring and Quick Remote for effortless control.

With AI Energy Mode, the ACs will be able to save up to 30 per cent of energy and reduce electricity bills for the owner.

Samsung hosts Season 3 of #PlayGalaxy Cup with Galaxy S25 Series in India

Microsoft's new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop for corporates will be available with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) from next month from February 18.

Business customers can choose between Intel and Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs from Surface, and experience the most advanced, intelligent and secure PCs available across both platforms.

Samsung joins hands with EMBIBE to deliver education to students in India
