Motorola has launched new 2025 series Razr and Razr Ultra versions of foldable phones in the US.

The new Razr phones feature a similar clamshell design but differ in terms of display size, camera, processor and battery capacity.

The regular Motorola Razr (2025) features a 3.63-inch QuickView pOLED LTPO display with 1056×1066p resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and 1,700nits peak brightness. It is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus shield and IP48 water splash-resistant rating. It features a single SIM (+ eSIM), a type-c port, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it flaunts a wide 6.96-inch FlexView full HD+ (1080×2640p) pOLED LTPO display with 1-120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.

The device runs Android 15 OS and is powered by 4m class MediaTek Dimensity 7400X octa-core with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, 8GB LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, dual-camera module --main 50MP(with f/1.7 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera with LED flash, a 32MP (f/2.4) front camera and a 4,500mAh battery with 30W turbocharger and 15W wireless charging.

The top-end Razr Ultra features a 4-inch QuickView pOLED LTPO display with 1272×1080p resolution, 1-165Hz refresh rate and 3,000nits peak brightness. It is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass Ceramic shield and IP48 water splash-resistant rating. It features a single SIM (+ eSIM), a type-c port, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it flaunts a wide 7-inch FlexView 1.5K (1224×2992p) pOLED LTPO display with 1-165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and offer up to 4,000 nits peak brightness.

The device runs Android 15 OS and is powered by 3nm class Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite octa-core with Adreno 830 GPU, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, dual-camera module --main 50MP(with f/1.8 aperture, OIS: Optical Image Stabilisation) with 50MP (f/2.0) ultra-wide camera, a 50MP (f/2.0) front camera and a 4,700mAh battery with 68W turbocharger and 30W wireless charging.

Initially, the Motorola Razr (2025) is priced $699.99 (approx. Rs 59,796) and the Razr Ultra (2025) costs $1,299.99 (roughly Rs 1,11,051) in the US. The new premium Android-powered foldable phones are expecte to make their way to more global markets including in India in the coming months.
