Nothing July 2025 Event: Here's what to expect
There's no prize for guessing, as Nothing Inc has already revealed that it will be revealing the Phone 3, the company's first-ever true premium handset to date.
Nothing Inc co-founder Carl Pei revealed the upcoming Phone 3 will cost around £800 (approx. Rs 91,336). It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
The new Phone 3 promises to deliver better performance than its predecessor. Compared to the Phone 2, the successor promises to deliver 36 per cent faster in terms of CPU performance, 88 per cent better GPU performance and 60 per cent stronger on the NPU front.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 comes with Snapdragon Elite Gaming features, including the Qualcomm Adaptive Performance Engine and Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2.0. They work in tandem to deliver ultra-smooth, high-performance gaming sessions while significantly enhancing power efficiency.
Another new thing coming with Phone 3 is that the company will replace the trademark Glyph UI with the Glyph Matrix.
The company may have used a secondary display on the back beside the camera to show notifications such as phone calls, messages, and even show an animated countdown clock for apps such as the estimated time of arrival of the cabs or the ordered food.
Also, the Phone 3 will feature a triple camera, but the company, through an official teaser, has revealed only one sensor-- a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom.
The device is expected to sport a 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen and come with a 5,150mAh battery with 100W wired charging capability.
Nothing Phone 3 is said to get five years (up to 2030) of Android OS updates and an additional two years of software security patches (up to 2032) for protection against emerging cyber threats.
Besides the Phone 3, Nothing Inc. is also confirmed to launch the company's first-ever overhead earphones.
Like the phones, the headset will sport see-through design elements. And, it is expected to support Active Noise Cancellation. And, also said to house 40mm drivers to deliver immersive listening experience.
